We are proud to have produced a bespoke WordPress design for this client. SIP speciality oils and fluids is a large corporate company based in central London, but who have a worldwide client base in all areas of commercial industries. They develop and supply oils and fluids to all types of industries such as oil drilling, medical, environmental and much more. Established in 1987 SIP have become one of the leading companies producing speciality oils in this field.
We started off our relationship by producing a series of brochures for their industry exhibitions that they were attending. Although the initial enquiry we had from them was for a bespoke WordPress design, they were in the middle of what seemed to be a failed development which they had spent over two years trying to complete. The finally realised that their project was going nowhere and decided to bite the bullet and start over. The previous company had left them with a website unfit for the purpose since it was very poorly developed. Our job was to take a WordPress and build a custom theme with the exact functionality and look that SIP had been looking for. Our designer worked very well with the ladies from SIP in that he understood exactly what they liked from the brochure work we did initially for them. So after a few design mock ups we were ready to rock!
WordPress is our CMS of choice now days is so versatile with the many plugins available that will address any need is our CMS framework of of choice. From the moment we install and setup a new instance of this world renown system, the steps from there on are really easy. The clients also find that WordPress is a breeze when it comes to making changes to the content, adding new galleries, blog posts and a lot more. Since we started using WordPress over 12 years ago, it has now become the number one CMS worldwide, with over 25% of all online websites produced using this framework. A key requirement was to have a client login area where they can view documentation specifically tailored for their companies needs.
Working with corporate clients who know exactly what they want and are realistic when it comes to costing a bespoke website, are our ideal clients. If there is a solid brief and functional specification provided then thats half the battle won. When we have a client who is a little unclear as to what and how their website would work best to benefit their specific needs, we tend to try and sit down and work on a brief with them, this makes life much easier for everyone further down the line.
