The common fonts of the web and why we use them

If your computer and browser does not support Verdana it will try and use Arial, if there is no support it will try Helvetica and if all else fails it will use your computers default sans serif font.

YouTube is down

YouTube is down but not out! It seems that even the big players have some technical issues when it comes down to running their websites, even if they do have server farms with state of the art load balancing bells and wistles, nothing is guranteed in this high tech world we sometimes take for granted. Just today someone asked the question, “why have we become so dependent on these machines?”
