We originally designed and developed the Caribbean Unpackaged website for the client in 2002. The site had successfully supported the massive growth of the business, but the new challenge was to provide it with a fresh outlook, both in terms of design and technology.

The site underwent a complete transformation. Our graphic designers worked with Caribbean Unpackaged to rejuvenate the site’s look, whilst our technical experts got to work behind the scenes.
One of the main motives for the site rebuild was that the client wanted to move forward in the digital marketplace and to develop their online presence. As such, we made sure that the new website would be able to support new and expanding search engine optimisation techniques.
The client also wanted to take the opportunity to update the site’s functionality, both in terms of their internal content management system and from the perspective of their users. In terms of content management, the client wanted to ensure that all booking details and enquiries would be updated as necessary with as few technical intricacies as possible.
We tailored the system to those exact specifications. The site is now built in a 100% CSS custom design layout backed by a robust MySQL database system. Internally, the client is able to make rapid changes to the site as well as integrating with suppliers for efficient booking enquiry updates.
