We have mentioned google A/B testing their homepage in the past and today we noticed they are up to exciting things on the image search page. They are trying out a new way, or should we say additional way; to navigate the SERPs with large arrow buttons on each side of the page. And they have also move the advanced options to the blue bar where they are normally displaying the + Show options…

And like in so many of these cases only one of us in the office has had the pleasure of seeing this version. Could this become a permanent feature of the Google Image search, we found it very useful so hopefully it will.
